can anyone help with this? iam using modam to make my server...
when i open Mysql.exe, Apache.exe, realmd.exe, mangos.exe
all with my external ip which is for public, everything went smoothe.. then my friend trying to open the site.. it says the webpage cannot be displayed... and for myself i was able to get into the game and the web with http://(my external ip).. need help

when i go to Open Port Check Tool my port 80 connection:Timed out. the rest all fine... can anyone help with this Timed out thingy?

Do you have a router or just a modem?
Are you running windows firewall or another firewall, do you need to make an exception for port 80?

He is using a modem, which shouldn't require you to port forward and ports, as its a direct connection.. ensure your ports are allowed to connect throughout (If your using W7 this is a problem).

Can he connect to your server? If not post your configs. and make sure you have edited your database realmlist table to your external IP.

everything is alright at the first and 2nd day..after that my friend cnnot to my web or gam anymore..the only thing is the port 80 problem, it says "Connection Refused" and "Connection Timed out" i already off all my firewall.. and iam using window 7.

Have you changed anything? Has your IP changed? Have you allowed Apache to accept external connections?
