    [Mangos] Issue with MySql/Apache

    Mangos Web Enhanced problem.

I have downloaded this wonderfull pack, I just have one problem sadly.

The installing is simple basic, I should go to [url]http://localhost/install and fill out the forms. It works great at localhost to connect the MySQL server and the homepage works.

Secound I uploaded the site to zymic.com and I should install it again like before to get it up, but one problem showed.

    Error:

    "MangosWeb Installer: Step 2/3
    Error!

Couldn't connect to the MySql server, most likely the given information is wrong. Please go back and correct it.

    MySql error log:
Access denied for user 'root'@'192.168.1.1' (using password: YES)"

I filled this at secound installing.

    And the error came.

You need to change "localhost" to YOUR External IP, and make sure that it allows them to connect, otherwise it will always return this error.

Basically what it is doing is trying to connect to your host's ip, not yours, where basically they dont have that.

In your config file you would need to change "localhost" to your IP address, and then it should be fine. If it dont work then, go into a database manager (i.e Navicat), and click users, make a new user just for the website, and where it says host, leave it blank i beleive.

hamachi for a web server? hamachi has nothing to do with web server it is all configured and ran by Apache

also check to see if you have remote mysql connection enabled that could be another problem as it needs to be on.

If you have MySQL 5.x installed on your computer you need to change the password there aswell as the same as ur logon.conf etc.

    Solution to the problem

Ok I go to solve the question

I see if you reinstall is possible the database become corrupt
Next time you reinstall you go to see index.php become in blank.

This I means because I already test apache errors and php errors and not one is in my screen (By now) Only after restore the database and reinstall this web become all NORMAL

About how to test MYSQL uhm I use LINUX  but I believe is the seam
Execute in the prompt mysql -u root -pXXXXXX change the XXXXX for your PASSWORD

Ok can you login Perfect Not login see you password is ok

You can Login but you cant not open the web with error like: Access denied for user 'root'@'192.168.1.1' (using password: YES)

Uhm possible you setup a but password in the installation

    Any questions more
