    Is it possible to create emulater with java?

    The title says it all. if not please say why. I dont see why it isnt.

    I believe so but would not be able to match the capabilities of traditional C++ cores.

    C++ doesn't do anything special as far as emulation, you can match existing emulators.

    I guess it could be possible..I see no reason why it wouldn't but java has to run in the JVM thus it would be too slow compared to C++.

    Ive been working with java for a while stability is no issue with java but application's not built right can give a memory leak cause high computer resource's to be used.

    Yeah, its possible. I would rather see it developed in C# though, as in my opinion it would be the most powerful emulator out there (if it had the user base of lets say Arc)
