How can i do GM's exalted???

    [SIZE="4"]General info:[/SIZE
repack: Hero's of Northernd 3.2.2 ArcEmu
    DB: HeidiSQL

Hi  i want to give all the GM's on my server(only me so far, made it public today) exalted with every single faction. so that they can for example go in Stormwind as horde without getting attacked by guards.
So i wonder is there a command for this or do i have to edit DB??
if i have to edit DB. how do i do this??

hopes for good and simple answers. not these long, hard to understand answers.

How can i do GM's exalted???

Um...well I am no expert on ArcEmu, I'm quite new actually, but the first thing I did when I got my server up and running was get the Insane achievement.

If I remember correctly it was .setstanding factionID 42999.

You have to .lookup faction Name to get the factionID, and 42999 was the number that gave you exalted, if I remember everything right, there might be some tinkering involved. I did not see if this would work with opposing faction reputations, but if you are flagged as a GM there's a pretty good chance it will.

I used this command on myself, so if you target someone else and use it, perhaps it will work.

However if you don't want to go through all of that labor without macroing a huge list across 3 or 4 macros, I'm pretty sure if you do .cheat god nothing will attack you at all.

I did say it might need some tinkering, as I haven't used it in a while. I just typed .setstanding into Google, and the command is .character setstanding factionID 42999. Also, I believe it's an ArcEmu command only, as Mangos has an entirely different set of GM commands, but again, who knows? XD

O.K., let's clear up some stuff (or try to anyway )
.cheat god does NOT make you un-attackable, it makes you un-killable. BIG difference because the mobs will still attack you & if too many get on you it bugs & crashes the game. .cheat invincible is a better choice as it doesn't usually crash the game BUT the mobs do still attack I believe. Just FYI.

Now, if I read everything correctly, the code is: .character setstanding <the number of the faction you're trying to change> <the number value for the rep. level you want>. I do NOT know what the rep value numbers are, though I think that 42999 is incorrect. I checked my rep tables where I have exalted with many factions & no where is there a 42999. The closest/highest number I found was 2999.

If you do find all the factions numbers & the exalted number, writing a Macro would be best. Then you could just put all that info in the Macro, target the toon you want to change, run Marco & done.

To set the game to automatically give a new GM toon all exalted (which would be the easiest/quickest option) would most likely be in the EMU's code itself & I have no idea how to set it in there. If you go to the Arc forums, you might have better luck finding an answer.

Ah ok, I have never had my server crash because of too many mobs, so I wasn't aware of this, and that might have been confusing Mangos .godmode or whatever it was from old school Emu configs I was thinking of, remembering walking around Sunwell and none of the mobs were attacking me, even when I attacked them.

However I think you are wrong with 2999. It might be a server core, but I doubt it as the commands haven't really changed that much. When I first started playing around with it I was just doing 99999 rep added, and it always said "Freedom has modified....42999."

After that I began using that specific number and it achieved exalted status. I think it is a literal point-by-point basis, where .character setstanding ID 700 will literally give you only 700 points worth of reputation, and 42999 is max exalted.

I could be completely wrong but it is a logical conclusion, as Neutral to Friendly is 3,000, Friendly to Honored is 6,000, Honored to Revered is 12,000, and Revered to Exalted is 21,000. That equals 42,000, and the additional 999 just maxes out the Exalted bar. Therefore setting the reputation level to 42999 achieves max exalted with that faction.

Well that would be why i said "though I think that 42999 is incorrect" Because I don't know for sure, just going by what's in my DB
