What core should i use?

I want to start my own private server and i wonder what core i should use?
i got experience from c++ at school and im going to do lots of custom stuff.
So what core should i use?

Depends what your going for really, if you new, then do ArcEmu, if you want to have a blizzlike feel, MaNGOS.

ArcEmu is more user friendly hence making it much easier for people who are new, it allows you to copile everything you need with a click of a button once you have everything setup, although no matter what emulator you use the first time will be confusing since you need to add files to your compiler and such. Just find a nice guide that you can understand and use the emulator that the guide is for, then when your ready move onto another emulator.

MANGoS was a project trying to do nothing but Emulate WoW. They weren't trying to make it easy or customizable.

ArcEmu was designed to be user friendly so anyone could create a private server. They made it easy yet potentially powerful.

Imo, Go hit up youtube and ask "How to set up WoW private server 3.3.2" ... lol that rarely fails. Thats how i learned

Ive dont that be4, but i felt like i wanted to get more information about core's be4 i started, so i dident make the server and got everything done, there was this last thing that wasent possible to do with that core

Id say ArcEmu because it's flexible. Just dont use a repack!

arcemu in my opinion tho mangos has some good commands i luved mangos until i remembered arcemu's gm .cheat commands

Compile it yourself or go to the daily arcemu compiles thread in releases.

If you know how to you can make your own GM commands. Our Awesome dev put .summon and .appear in Mangos. .namego and .goname is a lil bit stupid :P

i havent played WoW in 2.5 years and i downloaded a bunch of them all in one day to try them so i could make a private server, even though i was completely new i feel like Mangos was better than all of them, also the reviews also we good.

I like trinity core, its like mangos but with all the other patches mangos didnt add yet.
