GM Commands, in the wow console!

i want to be able to goto the wow console, type in the command (with out the .) and it to actually do something! (For arcemu please )

I dont think that is possible without going into the core.......what i mean is that you cannot do it from the database and it wont be easy to do.

You can type "Help" in the console to see a list of commands, they are limited but you can ban/kick players from the console along with reloading the scripts. (Just the ones off the top of my head)

i didnt mean from the arcemu console, there's a console built into warcraft that has commands like port MAPID X Y Z and i wanted to have all the other commmands build into it, like

He means like... you press the ` button and a black console window opens... when you try to use it on the private server, it doesn't work properly... like when I use worldport, it tele's me 1 million feet in the air above Alterac Mountains... Is there any way to get the commands to work right on the private server...

You need to put maps in to use the worldport command.

And as far as I know that console button was removed in PreBC servers.

No the console still exists.

Make a shortcut to your wow.exe with the target of... "C:\World of Warcraft\Wow.exe" -console

I.E. rightclick the shortcut propteries under target add -console.

As far as I'm aware you can't. Thats a console for Interface instead of the user friendly AI one. This presumes you're a normal player and does not include GM functions.

It's for both. I have seen GMs using that console in-game for their commands as well as it customizes the actual WoW Installation.
