Mangos 1.12: help a friend out :)

Hi guys,

I have a 1.12 mangos server I'm working on for fun.

I know nothing about coding (except Java) and some sql. I have a website and dedicated host to go with the server but I'm not really doing it for a production server. I like to code and it's more of a side project.

I was wondering if anyone could throw some guides or helpful information that involves coding around an older server. (mangos rev 2000-something).
