[QUESTION] What host I need?

Hello.

Got my server running.
Got like 30 Members.
But now I wanna host it on a Datacenter.

But i don't know where to host it?
there are like 10players constant online.
So how much Bandwith will i need each month?
And how much will this cost each month?
And what kind of server I need?
Deticated?
Virtual server.

If someone can tell me some things I need to know about this.

I really need to know this.

You can go with a VPS (Virtual Private Server) since you only have an average of ten players, but it won't be very reliable. When you rent a virtual private server, you are renting only a part of a larger dedicated server. However, other people rent from it, and also use it's bandwidth and power, so the results can be slow or fast, depending on who uses that server other than you.

Renting a real dedicated server is the way to go to keep your players happy. If you want to host 20+ people on your server, you will need a dedicated server. You won't need much bandwidth, so just choose the default option for whatever server you decide to buy. More experienced server owners (including myself) will tell you to run Linux on your host server. This is the best option, although you can run Windows if you really want to.

Price depends on which company you rent from. I have used companies such as Unmanaged Dedicated Servers • Dedicated Server Hosting • Reliable Dedicated Servers | Limestone Networks and have had great success, but it's your choice on what to go with. Just do a web search for dedicated server hosting and you will find plenty.
