Almost there....

Hey guys.

I've finally done it, I've figured out why my router's such a pain in the arse and managed to open the ports and get my server online. There's just one thing in my way now, and it's this:

When I log in to World of Warcraft, it says "Success", then goes to the realm selection screen. I select my realm, and then it gets stuck on "Logging into Realm Server". I have a feeling there is a simple solution to this problem, but I'm just not sure.

Any help would be much appreciated!

That's a world server problem,
make sure your listen host is set to 0.0.0.0 in your world.conf (This was my problem while setting up my server)

also, make sure the correct ports are forwarded and that they match the ports shown in your world.conf

this is all assuming you're using aspire, arcemu, or ascent

if you're using mangos it's almost certainly a port issue

Alot of times it has a hard time logging into the server on the computer that it is hosted on. Try to get someone else to logon from a different computer and see if they have the same problem. If they don't, you can usually fix the bug by hitting enter intill in logs you in.
