Custom mounts for trinity core mangos

Hey I have seen alot of guides for flying mounts in azeroth, I plan on making a custom mount using the spell ID of Avenging Wrath and would need it to be able to fly in azeroth, all the guides I have seen so far say to edit files with .cpp but my core does not have that, it just has the dbc files so I am wondering how I would go about making flying mounts work in azeroth
