I currently have my server up and accessible to users both inside and out side of my network, however I have been having an issue I've been working on for the week and a half. That issue is I have a dynamic IP and a host name through dyndns.com. I also have the dns updater installed and running with no problems, I know this because my web server stays up after I get a new IP. The only way to get anyone (inside or out side of my network) connected to my server I have to have my address field in my realmlist table in my realmd database set to my external numeric IP (ex. 97.112.245.215). The problem with this is when my IP resets, i have to manually reset my IP in the realmlist table. Any time I try and enter my host name instead, the client will comeback with "unable to connect to realm list server" for users inside and outside my network who try and connect. However I can revert it back to the numeric address and it works fine again.
I am using trinitycore2 3.1.3
my hosts file is modified like this:
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.0.71 example.com
I would appreciate any ideas you may have.
