Sorry for double post.

grandmst20, now i somehow can't reply to your private msgs so i can't post my questions.

Here goes:

1: Do i change line to "127.0.0.1;3306;username;pw;tdb_realmd" verbatim as you directed or do i set my own username + pw?

2: If above = "127.0.0.1;3306;username;pw;tdb_realmd", then how on earth do i change mySQL info?

3: Server i'm using has a db named "trinityscriptdev2." Do i dump it like i did w/ world etc, keep, or doesn't matter?

Lol! This is so much more than i can chew. I know nothing about all this and i'm putting a tremendous effort to understand what to do. If it doesn't work out soon i'll simply tell my boys we're going back to good old checkers and poker.

I got all your PMs lol.

1. Yes you change it to your details. The username will be root, and the password is whatever you made it.

2. Change that to your info.

3. Doesn't matter, you can leave it or drop it. I didn't include scripts.

If you still run into problems, PM/email/give me somehow your MySQL info and I'll set up everything so that all you do is import/run stuff, no configuring.

Weird--sent PMs are not saved in my MSGs folder. Oh, well.

Well, in that case i'm gonna have to DL a new server and that will take forever. Gotta hit the dirt roads again in 5, so i'll post my progress here tonight before taps or tomorrow.

EDIT 8/02/09: Didn't get TC2 server yet, but i got my hands on the Arc "Blood Knight Entertainment repack" you suggested. DLed it from these forums. Added some K5 files from Arc that allegedly fix my lvl80+new achievement gained crash. Dunno if that will work at all since i have no time to play, but my toons are now broken (they're missing skin stripes) both on loading screen & in-game (checked WoWME & patches just in case--not it).

Please let me know if you know anything about that

That seems like a client problem, if it happens every time it may be due to something with the client. Server wouldn't really have much to do with that.....

If you have any problems with what files you use let me know and I'll try to help ya out.

After applying K5 world crashes.

Generally, i don't think any of us down here has the stamina and patience to work on this any further. It was only supposed to be a hint of relief from the crap around us and not the much unneeded grief it so far turned out to be. So i don't think we want to rebuild our toons from scratch by going TC2 either.

Should you know of a working Arc pack we could use, we'd be most grateful. If not, all is well.

At any rate, thank you immensely for all your efforts! You will somehow be repaid for all this, one way or another.
