How do i get rid of question mark icons?

How would i get rid of the red question mark icons for custom items on a WoW 3.0.9 private server? I found a thread on some other website with google but the link was broken. +Rep to anyone who fixes my problem!!!!!

I haven't messed around with Emu's in a while but, I am pretty sure that if you clear your cache and log on to your server first it will save a custom item to that item... I don't know though. >.<

what do you meen by "First" and "Save"?

I think it was in 2.4.3 but anyway, Blizzard made it so that the item id's actually lookup the displayid in the DBC files.
This basically means, to fix the question marks on custom items, you need to either delete a blizzard item and use the item id of the blizzard item you deleted, or do some heavy DBC editing, or put up with the "?".

Tbh changing the icon would take alot of work and I would rather put up with the red ?

Works fine in Firefox. If you're at work or something they're probably blocking it.

Arkinventory is also a viable option. Albeit an outdated addon, it will still get rid of your question marks.
