CTR + ALT + DELETE (Task manager), inside there is a tab labeled Processes, look for anything that says "mysqld.exe" "mysql-nt.exe" "mysql.exe" pretty much anything that has mysql on it. Then click on it and end the process, windows will be like ZOMG wtf are you doing?? You dare defy me??!!, click yes once they're all gone try loading it again.

    Try starting it manually.

1). Open up cmd (Start -> run -> cmd)

2). type in "sc start mysql" or whatever the service is installed as.

3). if you don't know what your service is installed as, open up msconfig, go into services and look for it there

4). if that doesn't work, go (Start -> run -> regedit) and look under HKEY_Local_Machine -> System -> CurrentControlSet -> Services. then look for mysql and in the right side look for 'display name' (I haven't tested to see if the names from here work with sc start, but hopefully they do, if you even need to use this).

If none of that works, I'm out of ideas.

    Hope that helps :x
