Changing my skin permenent?

okay So i have been on a awesome server, where u could get your skin changed permenent! So i did choose the Lich King. Everytime i logged in i was him. Same scale as him (That mean i could't go into small buildings <.<) but now i want to know, how i can do that? I am admin and all that, but what does i need? +Rep to the one ho answers on my question

And another. Is there anyway to play a movie when u accept/finish a quest? (Like .debug playmovie 14)

You can go into the playercreateinfo table and change the displayid of selected Race and Class.
I dont got a list with the races and class but i know you can change the displayid of the selected races and classes.
You can always change back but you will need the right displayid.
I recommend to write down the original ones first.


And i think you will need to add a new command when you are compiling your own core to get the movies working. I believe you will have to be an expert in coding to get this done =/

This would all require C++ scripting.

For the login skin, it would require a script and a database edit/addition to get it working. If you wanted it to show up in the login screen, a core edit as well.

As for the movies at quest finish, it would require a simple C++ quest script

I'm not sure if your doing this with model editing or just something in your database, but there is smaller displayID's of the Lich King... like (22234).
If thats still too big, go into the database with navicat, open up 'unit_display_sizes' set Display id to 22234, halfsize to the size you want(Or half the size of the size you want, im not sure what one), and ModelID to 2628 i THINK. then hopefully that works.


Thats not really what you want though, I've found a column in the 'Characters' table in the logon database, that seems to match based on your characters race / gender.
'bytes_2' *shrug*.

So if you actually want to try this, modify playercreateinfo, and set a certain class/race's displayid to the lich kings, Restart your server, login with the lich king. Then look in Logon->characters->bytes_2 of the character you just made. Copy the number, then revert the creature_info's displayids back to the way they were. Delete the character you made, make a new one, change the new players bytes_2 to the number you copied from the modded character, save it and restart your server or log in / out.

Not saying it will work, just an idea, wouldn't reccomend it if its a public server that people play on :x.
