    A bunch LUA related questions.

    So I've been scripting with LUA for quite some time now, I've made some neat things but ever since I've started this new massive project sometimes it seems impossible to find a workaround solution to faulty commands.

    See, I've started this massive script for a cool event. But I've hit a road block... in particular. I was making a boss script where he has enrages that stack, However they don't actually increase his damage or attack speed (I found that it will have the effect of one stack only no matter what). So i want to update my server (3.08 AC web ultimate repack lawl).

    I've tried making an Aspire server before but the LUA wasn't working, and plus start-up time was ridiculous with errors. On to my questions.

    1). Should i just stick with the AC web repack to develop scripts?

    2). Is this repack too old to be compatible with GUA Engine?

    3). If i can use GUA engine willl my scripts have to be re-done? (Ex. Flag 6 for "On_Spawn" when registering an event does not exist. its "On_Load" flag 18. Will usage for old commands get modified?

    4). Is there any 3.1 servers out currently supporting LUA? or is 3.0.8 a better way to go stability + development wise?

    To be honest I used to strongly believe in Aspire and I still do but I am beginning to think Mangos may be the better way to go to be honest with you

    Well bottom line is, i want a server to develop on, with decent start up times. and an LUA engine or server core (Forgive my ignorance), on which i can release scripts that will be compatible with no errors for all different types of emulated servers (If that's even possible)

    Lua is a complicated thing with Aspire - They are constantly breaking it, fixing it then changing there minds again.
    You need to download the hearthstone branch of 3.1.x then compile it all, now go to sun++ and set that up and compile that. Sun++ is supposed to support Lua well on Aspire, but if you get errors then use the GuaEngine which is better, although I havn't tested to see if it works properly on Aspire 3.1 yet.

    wasn't sure lua was fixed for hearthstone....

    I myself, never got GuaEngine working with Aspire, since as Stoneharry mentioned, they keep making it non-functioning. Which is very annoying. I have no personal expierence with Sun++, so I wouldn't be able to assist with Sun++, will do a search related to Sun++ though.

    Didn't tested it with 3.1.2 but 3.1.1 Lua works, if you compile Sun++, too.
    GUAEngine didn't work for me on 3.1.1

    Stability and Development-wise I am myself currently going with ArcEmu 3.0.9 with the latest GuaEngine. Works pretty solid for me, no Engine errors or whatsoever.
