I want to fix it!

Most repacks I have played have problems with quests and spells. I have some posts on here and I keep hearing things about scripting or compliling your own repack. I figured I would try and figure out how all this works.

So lets say I have a few quests that don't work.... could someone point me in the right direction and tell me what I need to do to fix them?

Go into your quests table in your DB and fix them

You need to modify the database to fix quests.
You can find the quest information in the "quests" table in the World database.

I opened the DB but I do not know what to change. I am using Naxp Mangos 3.1.0. Basically I see a bunch of numbers.

The very first quest for the human race "A Threat Within." I talk to the guy that gives me the quest and accept it. He tells me to go to Marshall McBride. When I get to Marshall McBride it pops up with the same message telling me to speak to Marshall McBride and I can either accept the quest or decline it.

I'm not sure what to change to fix this. The tables just have a bunch of numbers that don't mean anything to me right now.

3.1 repacks are very buggy, wait till the fixes, its hard to fix it by urself if u rnt good in it.
