Cannot type in Mangosd.exe

I've just started using MaNGOS after having used Arcemu for quite a while.
I've started by using The 2009 2.4.3 Arena Tournament server, It tells me to type a few console commands in Mangosd.exe, but I can't it must be something I'm missing, becuase I've googled it and looked through the forums and haven't found anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated .

Well, i need to type account create Myran2 password

in an application called mangosd (the mangos version of arcemu world)
the problem is I can't type account create becuase I physically cannot type anything in the command line that is called mangosd

I know I'm able to do it because in the arena tournament server repack I'm using, it says i need to be able to type account create in mangosd and I haven't seen anyone else asking this problem ever, so it must be something i'm missing.

I have never had this problem and don't know a solution for it but make sure that the server is started completely. Maybe there was an error? Also, if you're using vista try run it as administrator.

If it still doesn't work you can create an account manually in the realm database with this SQL query:

INSERT INTO `account`(`username`,`sha_pass_hash`,`joindate`) VALUES ('account_name',SHA1(CONCAT(UPPER('account_name'),':',UPPER('password'))),NOW());

(Replace the colored text with accountname and password)

And if you're gonna have more accounts it would be easier to just use an account registration website.

well, there's some sort of a problem with my map extractor where it only goes to 41% and get an unhandled map chunk (i think) error.

So could it be that it really my mangosd isn't started up all the way because it only has 41% of the maps?

the DBCs are fine, is it possible for you to PM me a copy of your maps folder?

If your using 2.4.3 mangos the maps folder will be almost 1 gig big. Make sure you use ad.exe made for 2.4.3 version, not for 3.0.3..

I did, the problem is it gets to 41% and crashes

you can always zip it up and add it to the repack, then anyone with the same problem could just use those maps

Try run ad.exe as administrator

I'm on XP on an administaror account and ad.exe works fine until 41%, then it says unhandled map chunk *some random number*

it also extracts the DBCs fine
