Mangos Playing Locally & Remotely

I've searched here and google, and a few "competitors" forums to no avail. I know how to set up mangos with and w/o hamachi works great. Problem is that when using a non hamachi i cannot play.

Is there a way that I am missing that allows one to play locally along side a remote?

While my friends and family dont mind the hamachi, its just an extra step not needed, however, if i want to join in, its not possible unless that is the meothod.

any suggestions?
