    *PUBLIC* Website help!

    Alright, so here is the problem.. i have been trying to make a PUBLIC website for my private server for days now.. i have made ones where i can connect to but no one outside my house can connect >.< ive forwarded all the ports ive read tons of guides but i just cant figure out what i am doing wrong.. i have been trying to use WAMP.. Just cant seem to figure it out hsnap:

    Its your ports, as long as you havent F"D with any of the wamp settings it is your ports my friend.

    Well i would suggest turning your firewall down along with your antivirus.

    Even port 80?
    I think WAMP uses port 80.

    Yeah any apache uses port 80 as their default because every other port is more vunerable to attacks...

    If you forwarded port 80 and made sure your firewall (if any) is not blocking it than most likely your ISP does not allow inbound http traffic. This is common with larger ISP's. What you can do to verify this would be to switch your web server to run on a different port (such as 8080) and forward/unblock the port as needed then test it.

    ive turned off my anti virus and computer firewall, not sure if i want to turn off my router firewall though

    Ive tryed the port 8080 and still no luck

    ;P go to your router website, and either turn of your firewall, or put your computer to DMZ (turns of firewall for just a single computer, not the whole network.)
