Going Blizzlike as possible?

My goal is to make a Mangos style server as close to blizzlike for my family since it costs WAY too much for my whole family to play the real game. Now, I have an 80 death knight that I enjoy playing on the real game. But I want to try something new. So I took the 3.0.3 core package of Mangos and trying to make it as blizzlike as possible.

So for my questions.

This can be possible right? I have all the achievements and zones all ready. But King Varian of Stormwind is not spawned so I must spawn him. But he comes as an undead enemy to the old ruler of SW. Anyway to fix this?

if this is your first server and its only for your family, i would suggest ArcEmu instead of Mangos. There are some really good Blizzlike guides here, take a look at some of them. I would suggest the ArcEmu Blizzlike repack i think their at v 10 now?

This is actually my fifth. Have used Mangos since about 2.1.4 so I hate to move away since I have memorized a chunk of the commands and I like its performance. I am looking for a good challenge so I thought right now would be a good time to do it since Lich is so unknown in the private servers.

hehe more power to me! First thing is first. I need someone to explain why King Varian will attack me even though I made him in the stormwind faction. But in the Org faction, hes friendly. Kinda odd if you ask me. What about you guys?

btw stick with mangos because there good being blizzlike if you want a funserver use ascent,arcemu, and aspire.

Ok report. something is messed up. When I decided to make him the faction of darnassus. It says im now neutral with ratchet? so I am going to rerun ads and see if that was my problem. Who knows, messed up here

FYI, for people who do not know this. You must use the factionid 11 for King Varian to be of that faction. Something I learned. It is not 72.

Now, how do I go about turning the Onyxia quest into to him instead of the dead guy in Lich King?
