I downloaded the client from here, at MMOwned. (Oh and Fireblast I can't even find a download link on that upper one link you gave. )

sammiboy,when people update their patch to 3.0.2, the WotLK Client won't install. It says The patch needs to be greater than 2.4.x but less than 3.0.2. Warning/Error --> "WotLK : Sorry, the installer was unable to start up. : The installer does not need to be applied. It requires a version of "Wow.exe" older than 2.4.0.8089, but you already have version of 3.0.2.9056." It won't let me install WotLK, either so don't feel bad,lilbdiablo12. I know this is a slightly old topic but i have a 3.0.3 client but its not wotlk anyway of getting round the install issue or am i gunna have to reinstall?

No, you can roll your version back to 2.0 (search on the forum for how to do that) and then install WotLK BEFORE you patch. It installed just fine for me that way....
