Creating Game Acct

Well i THOUGHT i finally got it. I used Spora for Ascent, put everything in and turned on wampserver.exe and i can create an account but other people cant connect?
It loads for me and the account creation actually works, but as always i come through with more and more problems. as i said above it works for me but other people cant connect? any ports that need to be opened?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated

port 80 should be open and firewall off

it might be you did something wrong on the config of the website

If they cannot connect to the website, you need to open port 80..But if they cannot connect to the server..thats a different story =P.. Also, make sure that you have everything setup in C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc and in the Hosts file.

im pretty sure i do my ip and my realmlist right? do i need both my external and internal ip? cause i only have the external ip, the server is public tho

if everything is public, dont touch your host files, It is your conf. Please post your conf for spora and delete your mysql pass on it for noone to see , also make sure that it is the right mysql pass + user.

Make sure that when you made your DynDNS you used the right IP. Check it.

Im pretty sure i did, i just clicked the box saying use detected ip adress and i used that

Waitt I think i got the port wrong, when i click connection in my Navicat it says Port is 3306

EDIT: Nope didnt work, i changed the port it still makes the game account but ppl cant connect

try making a new one? Not sure man. Alls I know is it could be a firewall/blocked port or your IP is being masked wrong.

It wouldn't have anything to do with your website conf though...

Makign a new one means il need to edit all my host files, my whole realmlist for my server and a lot of other stuff >.>
