    Allowing Ips Question

    Im currently using Apples ascent and i have a problem
    i wana allow an ip to acess my db

    AllowedIPs = "127.0.0.0/24"
    AllowedModIPs = "127.0.0.0/24"> "81.132.228.166">

    as you can see i wana allow 81.132.228.166 but it doesnt work what do i type?
    Any tips would be greatly appreciated

    Go into Navicat or Heidi, Click manage Users, and set them up with an account right there..
    You put an IP in "Host"

    you have to redo your mysql configuration to allow remote connection.

    Nickelo is right, the IP system in Ascent is only if you wish for another server or parties to connect to your realmserver. Kinda like Blizzard does.

    I have one more problem, i used his host as his ip and made his user and everything but should he use my ip too connect?? or my realmlist?

    Open and portfoward port 3306 and let him use your realmlist if you are using DDNS.
