    Problem adding items.

    Hello,

I'm having a bit of trouble when it comes to adding custom items. I've done it before, really no problem whatsoever.

But as of late I'm using a new core, and for some reason, when I enter the item information into the database, and restart the server, the item still doesn't exist. I've tried database reloadings from within the game, and still nothing.

Anyone have an idea as to why it's not functioning?

    Problem adding items.

Are you pushing the check in the database after editing?

I am, I'm using Navicat, and using queries from WoW-V. I never had problems with it before, so this time it's just confusing.

Thanks for your help so far though

try using a lower ID. You need to edit your core to load anything over a certain number (I forget it lulz) but if you just shorten up the number it should work.

    ex:
    Entry ID : 10000000

    to

    Entry ID : 100000

    I live in a shoe

I use navicat, and wow-v also, I am assuming you did not duplicate the display id#, or you would have gotten an error.
I just look up the item #, go look for it under "items", find the display id#, then enter all the wow-v info in a new line.
I start all new, custom items with #50000 and up.
I then close navicat, restart server, and they are there.
I just learned how to do this today, and it seems to work fine.
I agree with sounded on it may be the new Item #s may be to high. This is all that I can think of also.
Wait, which dl on wow-v do you use? You could also be using the wrong syntax.
Sorry I am not more help, but that is all i know it might be.
Hope it works out for you

Thank you so much on recommending the item # change. It appears the number was too high, I reduced it and it worked out great.

    Thanks all!
