New patch?

Ok I am confused this is not on my other computer or, as it seens no one elses but when I use the launcher for wow it says wrath of the lich king and is perparing to download patch 3.0.1 and it downloaded this launcher from using the old one, no I do not have WOTLK beta I tried downloading it but it did not work any clue why it wants to download it? this is from my WoW directory c:\program files\world of warcraft strange...+Rep if u helps

As far as I know. It's just a launcher update as well as introducing the PTR. Not really anything of significance.

PLUS the Wotlk is most likely for the PTR.

Its a prepatch download, meaning that U already download a part of the patch before the full patch is completed, so that U don't have to download 2 gb+ in one day but 900 now, 750 next week and 1 gb the week after (this is an example ofcourse)
