Ookie, years after I started playing, I finally worked up the nerve to make a Private server, and I must say, I love it. I'm all alone with only max geared chars of every class soloing Brutallas, go me!

But I have a question...my boyfriend wants to play with me; is it possible to have 2 different Private servers on different versions of a Repack?

What I mean is, my current server runs off of Mangos, but could I make a second server say off of Ascent, and have no interference between the two? The reason I ask is mainly because I can't figure out for the life of me Port Forwarding to make the Mangos version public, so I'd rather do Hamachi off of Ascent.

Does anyone know if it's safe to have dual servers on different versions on the same hard drive, and the same copy of WoW? (I don't play Live since I created my server, so not having it available is fine.)

If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it. For the Horde! ^.^

If im getting it right, you would like to run both ascent and mangos at the same time, from the same database?

In that case i dont think its possible, as they use different structures.
You could run them simultainously, as 2 servers reading their respective database, but not merged.

Yeah if you wanted to have TWO entire servers.. seperate databases and all its possible easily possible actually.. But a mangos server cannot run off a Ascent based DB and vice Versa ..
