Table / Item edditing

I have vendors on my server that sale Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 sets

seeing as all 3 sets are level 60 and practicaly useless (T1 and T2) I wanted to eddit their item levels.

Tier 1 - from required level 60 -to- 40
Tier 2 - from required level 60 -to- 50
Tier 3 - Leave at 60

I tried opening the (Item) table and changing "requiredlevel" fields but that didnt change the item level of the item in game. is there other tables that need edditing or something?

I do not want to recreate the sets as custom item lookalikes.... i want them to maintain their set bonuses and i want the pieces that drop in the instances to be the same. so the best i can think of is to edit the original items required level.

Did you clear your cache after doing so? and restart server? You should only need to edit the required level field yes...

It's easier then doing the tables.

Reload tables and restart server for changes to be in effect.
