    Stuck At "Success"

ok so im having this really weird problem. this morning my dsl went down and so my server had to be taken down as well, because im on the computer with the server I kept playing and shut things down a few hours later. well 8pm rolls around and the dsl comes back up. so when I get the server back up and try to connect im getting stuck at success on my public server. this is happening on both the server and outside computers trying to connect.

my console is acting weird too, world.exe is finished a lot faster than it should and im getting this error out of loginserver.exe

    Code:
    Hooking signals...
    Success! Ready for connections
Authentication request from ***.***.*.***, result OK.

obviously i played EQ as well:P I was Kreegoth on Seventh hammer/lanys Tval..

Been thinking about starting to Emulate EQ too.. but its such a basic game compared to this anymore..

Your Logon database and World Database are under the same heading?

Most times logon database is seperate and has a different name.....

You should post your Realms config too..

Try changing that to your local host address. If that doesnt work Check out Open port tool or Canyouseeme.Org to see if your ports are opened right.. and Check your hosts file to see if its setup right..

    Should be

    ExternalIP Echo.hopto.org
    InternalIP Echo.hopto.org

I changed it to my local host and it still didnt work. Im going to go check and see if the ports are open. I had a problem similar to this before but it was caused by my ports being closed and I had to enable dmz mode (for some reason it wont save forwarded ports so I have to use dmz mode or nothing :/ ). thats still enabled now though. the weird thing is that I didnt have any problems before and then my dsl went down for like 5 hours. apparently they had some issue over at at&t. when it came back up though, all of these problems started. I figured this could be a problem with the router but its ports are all open.
