I have trouble installing WotLK

Okay so i live in Iceland. And my friend let me use his WotLK account which is US.

So i downloaded the US clients and i tried installing the US clients and it gave me this error:
This version of Wrath of the Lich King is only compatible with english (US) versions of World of Warcraft.


Now i don't think it should give me that message because Windows tells me i'm from the US ( which is wrong ) and it when installing WotLK it creates a whole new client.

So what would the problem be ?

Do i need to install World of Warcraft again.. but in US ?

changing the realmlist to US does not work.

Maybe try instaling the GB WoW umm this isnt my expertise but if that doesnt maybe re instal world of warcraft again

That's strange to be honest, I have no idea what's causing it.

So changing the realmlist isn't working?..
Try install the EU client, and change realmlist after. Might work.
