Make sure your ports are forwarded correctly and also check your logonserver.exe and see if there's an error with conflicting IPs. Check your realmlist too...

I am having the same issues. The guide I followed said it worked for the current wow. My ports are forwarded right and there are no error at all. Realm list is fine, no errors poping up in anything. Everything runs fine. But wow is still stoping at connected.

Is there any kind of message in the logonserver.exe? There might be a denied IP that you're not necessarily receiving an error for, but it won't allow connection to the server.

the owner of the router for some reason wont let me forward ports. so i use hamachi instead. and i tried this with and without using hamachi (just localhost)
and no there is no logonserver message, im pretty pro at this, it would just never stop holding on connect


now back to the other question can i download the arcemu source code?

1. One of the only ways to get stuck at connecting is when the logonserver.exe and world.exe aren't working together. So my best solution would be to check the .conf and make sure the ports and IPs are what they need to be.

Also, make sure in the 'Allowed IPs' section, you have 127.0.0.1. If that doesn't work, you could also just try your actual IP. I had the same problem, and fiddling with the Allowed IPs and the .confs in general fixed it.

allright thanks

i was able to get the same setup to run before (same .confs and everything), but it may have had something to do when my 400 gig hdd that had the server data on it died. but it should hopefully work now.
