Mangos?

Hi

I've been considering trying out mangos, after all the ascent et similia repacks I tried out that were "99% scripted" and the 'scripts' were non-existent or badly broken. But that's beside the point.

So my question is: what level of scripting can I expect out of MangOS? And, what repacks could I try (yes I know that I should get the sources etc, but I'm gonna eventually do that after already trying a quick mangos repack and see how it goes ). I read that Reaper-X's is 'noob-friendly', but what I was looking first of all is working scripts for the 60+ raids.

Well, ScriptDev2 is mangos's scripting "project". But, it's all done in C++, which, unless you already have knowledge of C++, is alot harder than LUA (When it comes to creating custom boss fights). As for the blizzard instances, they have almost all of then scripted. They also have a pretty nice size community working on it.
