    [Release] Ankh Restarter

    Ankh Restarter

Ankh is an easy-to-use restarter for private servers.

Note: this project is still a Work In Progress -- not all features (such as the webinterface) are implemented or fully functional yet.

    Features are:
    • Easy to use User Interface. Displays whether the logon- and worldserver are online and how many restarts occurred this session.
    • The application is easily manageable through an easy-to-use settings system.
    • The logging system allows you to chose a location to place the logs. Logs can either be in plaintext, or HTML format.
    • Reboots both World- and Logonserver. The user can easely pick the whereabouts of the world- and logon-server. It's also configureable whether you want only the world-, only the logon- or both of the servers restarted.

      Might soon come:
      • An easy configuration system, that'd make setting it up even easier! (Autodetecting emulator + executeables).
      • Webinterface This optional feature allows you to check up on the server's status where ever you are... As long as you've got an internet connection available, that is.
    • Configureable intervals (check the status every x seconds).

    Download:
    0.7 *removed*
    0.8 *removed*
    0.85 http://filebeam.com/d7f8a30fb1cb3dbe3a71b18b8244355c

    Changelog
    0.85
    * You can now chose to only restart a world or logon server.
    0.8
    * Errors no longer crash the application.
    * Restarting world and/or logonserver now works correctly.
    * "Restarts during this session"-stats now get drawn correctly.
    * Some fixes on the config-side.
    * The "about" form now closes correctly when clicking "Ok".

Please post your bugs, issues and suggestions :>!

I believe you've forgot to set up the system... Go to tools -> settings and select your exes. As it is, I've found a bug which sometimes prevents the settings menu being shown up.

This bug should be fixed by tonight (or tomorrow), together with a crash that occurs when the selected files for the restart no longer exist.

Thank you for your response :>.

I'm most definitely going maintain support on this. Repairs are taking a bit longer than I reckoned they would. I've also written a system that displays errors now rather than just having the application crash.

Update: Version 0.8 should have fixed all previously mentioned. Download and Changelog entry added.

Due to a problem with the server I used as a host, I've been forced to relocate the download links to Filebeam. I'll be redoing the screenshots later today.

Thank you for the responses :3.
