[Guide] How to make a 2.3.3 Server EASY

Hello all i decided to make a Ascent guide

Welcome to Masterchiefs Guide for Ascent!

First you are going to need some components

Repack - Filebeam - Free Fast File Hosting
Winrar - WinRAR archiver, a powerful tool to process RAR and ZIP files
MySql - MySQL :: MySQL 5.0 Downloads
Navicat - Navicat - the World's Best MySQL Front End for Windows, Linux & Mac OS X
maps - almost done uploading


Navicat
Install Navicat, its really easy. Just click next a few times.
Once you have installed Navicat, open it. There will probably be an icon on your desktop.
Click on New connection.
In the connection name, type anything you want E.G Ascent
The Hostname/IP should be localhost.
The port should automatically be 3306; if not change it.
Make your username root.

Executing Batch File
Right click on your database, and click ‘Execute Batch File...’(downloading your Database)


Select the SQL file from Silvermoon repack
Click start, this could take a while so go have a coffee or have some food.

Configuration
Go to your Ascent folder (Silvermoon repack) and find ascent.conf.
Change everything that says Change (Change to what you put for it)

Change the things in red:

Now Go into logonserver.conf look for This at the bottom


<Client MinBuild = "6739"
MaxBuild = "6739">

Change this to this:


<Client MinBuild = "6739"
MaxBuild = "9999">



______MAKING YOUR OWN SERVER PUBLIC HAMACHI STYLE__________________

First download Hamachi at
Hamachi.cc

Then go through the Tutorial

Then you will see a Ip on the top of hamachi screen

Make your own hamachi channel like (Your servername) (password: 123)

Then go into your ascent folder and go into realms.conf

Change this to your hamachi IP:

Port = "8093"
Name = "Default Logon"
RealmCount = "1">


<Realm1 Name = "Changeme"
Address = "HamachiIP:8129"
Icon = "PVP"
Colour = "1"
Population = "2"
TimeZone = "1">



Start your server up and WALLA
