How to Create an Item that Will Teleport

Another Database Tutorial!

So here we start!
Connect to your Database

We will start by Creating the spell that will teleport the player(We will modify an existing one).
Open the "Teleport_Coords" table and find a spell that is probly not used.
I will use the one with id 11362 because it won't have any cooldown.
1. "id". Let it the same and remember it.
2. "name". choose a name for your spell (Won't be shown)
3. Positions: Type .gps in the game to get them for this tutorial, my item is teleporting you to a Leveling Area.
4. "totrigger". Won't be used.
Now your Spell is created!

Now we will make the item that will teleport the player on use.
Create a new Item
Modify those informations:
id: The id of the item (high number like 90001)
Class: 15
field4: -1
name1: The name of your item (Mine is LevelArea Teleporter)
DisplayId: I suggest 26772 (look down for the image)
Flags: 64
allowableclass: -1
allowablerace: -1
maxcount: Number of this item you can have (0 is for any number)
spellid_1: It's the "teleport_coords" id (11362 is mine)

You're done! Save and restart server!

To add it type .add [item id]
To add it to a shop type .npc vendoradd [item id]

It didn't work for me.. heres what i did
1. I made a spell_teleport
Id = 35000
Target_map = 1
X = -6167
Y = 384
X = 426

And i added it to the item the way u said to and it pops up as a item and says Use and when i use it, it doesn't do anything it just says "I cannot equip this item"

Any idea, Btw i use Mangos

this is pretty common knowledge but what isnt and would be extremely resourceful is how to put it on a cast timer, or perhaps cant be used in combat. cast timer prefered.

Well to do that you would have to edit a spell that can't be used in combat or does have a cast timer.
