when u have connected... right-click on ascent then excecute batch file...then find your file... and excecute your file. then you are finish

Hey, im having the problem in running Ascent.exe

after running everything it says "Connecting to logonserver on (my ip):8093...... Connection failed. Will try again in 10 seconds"

this message repeats, please any suggestions.

Hey.

Great Guide. I took me about 10 minutes and everything is working fine.

Small problem : I can't go on the eastern part of the Shadowmoon Valley map (ex. Black Temple). When I cross the middle of the map, the game freeze.

Oh, and some NPC are missing (ex. Cenarion Town in Silithid) ???

Any idea why ?

Thanks, this work really good but I have one problem. Even if I have 300 in weapon skill I kinda miss all the time and do very low WHITE damage. Same thing with spells, it just says "resist". Thanks!

Heya, thanks for this great server works good and really easy to set up.
I have one question tho..
I was trying to get this server public, so I have edited the conf files with my ip, same with the realmlist.wtf
but when I try to log in the server it gets stuck in "handshaking" or in conecting and it doesnt let me log on, any ideas?

Edit: now I look in the ascent.exe it says" connecting to logonserver on xx.xxx.x.xxx:8093"

note: it doesnt show xx.xxx.x.xxx it shows my real IP.

Ey guys.. Ive had my server for a while now..so i decided to move it to my laptop (vistaish).. the only problem i have is going to c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts. i cant save my edits becouse it tells me i dont have administrator rights.. i do have administrator rights, doh.. usually i can open everything by rightclicking and choose open as administrator. but i cant on the hosts file;s anyone got a suggestion?

When I originally did all this it worked great but then I turned off my computer and tried it again the following morning it does not work. when I sign into wow as admin/admin it takes me to the realm list but when I click on the realm it say logging into realm then reverts back to the realm list what do I do?
