This may have been posted some amount of times, but Id like to make this anyway, since it seems that all the gms on the private server im on do not know how to spawn and keep game obhects in game. Here is a step by step guide on how to do this. Have fun!
The "Hard" Way
1a.1b.Go onto Thottbot: World of Warcraft, and search for a common item in World of Warcraft (eg. bench, table, tent, etc.)..gobj spawn <number>Notice that on your adress bar, at the end it, there is a number. Highlight it, and then, if this works for your computer, copy, and then paste it into your game, using the following command.
.gobj spawn <number> 1IMPORTANT: Make sure you put a 1 after the number, if you would like the game object to stay permanent on your server.
1c.After the game object is spawned, make sure it is what you want it to be, and then your done!
The "Easy" Way
2a.2b.Go onto your server. Manually find an object you like.2c.Type .gobj select. If it says theres none in range, either go closer to the object, or the object isnt a valid game object at all. If it did, however, find an object, it will tell you the name of what it selected, and the distance of the object itself.EXTRA: Game objects sometimes spawn at akward angles. This means that you cannot spawn anything anywhere and expect it to be in perfect alignment with everything. Use your imagination, and creativeness to make cool places made out of chairs, tables, and other things! Now, type in .gobj info, and it should come up with all of the info for that item. Just like NPCs, look at the display ID row of it, and read it. Now, just like before, use .gobj spawn <number>, and Abhra Kadabhra! You have your game object! Dont forget to add the one on the end of it (seperated by a space), and have fun making game objects all over the place.
If you have any questions, concerns, or if I made a bad typo, post it, ill fix it ASAP. Also, I may add pics later on so that it can be even easier for this to work.
