Make your own WoW Private Server!

Part 1



~Downloads~

WinRar - For extracting compressed files but if you already have an extraction program (winzip, 7zip, etc), don't download.

Wow Installer - You really want me to tell you what it is for?

ArcEmu 3.3.5 Repack - ArcEmu is an Open Source World of Warcraft server outside of Blizzard.

Now that it is all downloaded, extract all of the files to your desktop.(after installing WinRar)



Part 2



~Start up and play your server~



*Please keep it in mind that this guide is only for

personal use and not public, so you are going to be

to be the only person able to access it.*



Now if you followed this right, you should have 2 folders on your desktop, one named InstallWoW_enUS, and one named WoW Private Server.

Open the installer each time time you want to install the next version of the game.



Make sure that you install them in this order:

1.World of Warcraft

2.Burning Crusade

3.Wrath of the Lich King



Otherwise it won't work.



DO NOT PATCH PAST 3.3.5!



Ok, WoW is now installed and we are ready to move on.

Go to your WoW folder, go to 'data', enUS, then find realmlist.wtf

Delete all it says inside, and copy and paste this into it:



set realmlist 127.0.0.1

done!



Each time you want to play you have to do the following IN

THIS ORDER:







1.Open up the folder 'WoW Private Server'

2.Open up 'server', then open up 'MySQL.bat'

3.Then go back to 'WoW Private Server' and open 'ArcEmu'

4.Open 'arcemu-logonserver.exe'

5.Open 'arcemu-world.exe'

6. watch the text inside 'arcemu-world.exe' until it says this EXACTY:

2929 loot templates loaded from loot_pickpocketing

That is is the very last thing to load

7.Now open up Your 'World of Warcraft' folder and find 'WoW' exactly that way Open and play

8. USERNAME:admin

PASSWORD:admin

You didn't mention anything about the C++ Redistributional 2010 Package, .Net Framework 4 etc that are required.

ya I'm patched to 3.3.5 and it says can not validate game version... and i cant find the build in the conf. files any help?

When I try logging in it says "Server Login Down" or something like that.

I'm patched to 3.0 something

does anyone know whats wrong?

also, in the arcemu-world text box it says LogonCommClient: Authentication Timed Out.
