!GUIDE! Setup LAN server MaNGOs Platinum 1.12.1

Hello! I'm sure some of you may have problems when you're trying to connect to LAN server and you get to the part where you log into the gameserver and you pop back when trying to go into the realm. I'm gonna show you how to fix this problem on MaNGOS Platinum 1.12.1

First of all, download SQLyog which is an database editing program, download it here: Download - SQLyog MySQL Frontend, MONyog MySQL Monitoring Tool


* First step is to go into the RUN icon on the start menu, then type in "cmd" in the box. And then you should see a black console popping up, should look like this:




* Thats your LAN ip adress, and that's the one we are going to use so that you can play LAN with your friends, remember the IPadress.

* Make sure to have your MaNGOS Platinum 1.12.1 mysql running when you are using SQLyog. Then open up SQLyog and you will see that you are coming to a connection window, should look like this:




* Type in password "root" if you havn't changed the password to something else, click Test Connection, if its okay, then click connect and you will enter the program.




* The next thing you will see is the databases to the left side. Double click on realmd, then double click on Tables, then double click on realmlist, then double click on columms. Then manage your way to the icon Table data in the middle of the program, if you have done right, then it should look like this:




* Then change your adress from "127.0.0.1 to your LAN IP! And you can change the name you whatever you want to name your realm. Close down SQLyog and save changes when prompted to.

* After that you and your friends can play LAN without getting the "realmloop" thing when your logging in.
