Dude I love you! I have been trying to get my talents to 1.12.1 for a pre bc server, and the wotlk talents were too op. thx for the help man.
After several hours of reading the talent trees and looking at this guide i have just finished tweaking a warrior build to make them way to OP but in general it was a great learning experience thanks to this guide.
Thank you for the idea
Is it possible to make an mpq file of the 1.12.1 talent dbc and use it in a 3.3.X server??

Though my virus scanner told me that the DBC editor is infected (Lets say he was wrong), great guide. Would be pretty helpful if I could actually use it. (My server doesn't like any kind of Modelchanges for some reason, crashes as soon as someone with them gets on)
Next to go: How to edit Melee/Spellcoefs in the DBCs, kgo!
Why DotaWoW? :O
thanks,
in some way still helpful :P

is it possible, that you can upload your "1.12.1 Talents in 2.4.3"?
im running a 2.4.3 server and i NEEEEED those fking pre bc talents
sorry for digging in this oooold thread, but im desperate as hell
Great Guide, thanks for the pics too!
to the last poster, I'm sure that this same method can be applied to any version of WoW, maybe need updated tools (not sure havent tried this mpq editor or dbc editor).
Just follow his guide and replace the wotlk or tbc talents with old ones by searching on WoWHead for their spell ID #s. You dont need original WoW for DBC edits or MPQ custom patches.
