[GUIDE] Compiling Gastrics GUAEngine

Hi there, in this guide i will explain how to setup Gastricpenguins GUAEngine


I would just like to say before we start, to do this you will need your OWN a compiled server, NOT a repack

First of all you will need Tortoise SVN

Download: tortoisesvn.tigris.org

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once that is downloaded, make a folder on your desktop and name it GUA.

Right-click on the folder and click SVN Checkout.

In the URL box, put in "http://subversion.assembla.com/svn/guaengine/"

and click ok.
Should look somthing like this:



When this has finished Downloading, go into the folder and click projects.

Now, go to your server compile folder (Arcemu, aspire etc etc) and navigate to src>scripts>projects.

and paste the file GUAEngine.vcproj (found in GUA>Projects>) into your server projects folder.

Then navigate to src > scripts > src and paste the GUAEngine folder in there (found in the GUA SVN Folder)

Navigate back to your src > scripts > projects folder and click on the GUAEngine.vcproj file, set the build settings to release and then click ok.
You should have gotten one successful compile

Getting the latest version of GUAEngine:

To get the latest version of the GUAEngine, on the GUA folder right click and click SVN update, this will bring another window up downloading/updating files, once its done click ok;




you now have the latest version of GUA

how do i update this to get the latest version?

To get the latest version, just right-click on the folder GUA and click SVN Update, this will bring up the latest Rev of the GUAEngine.

What does the GUAEngine do? Sorry if this is a noob question

GUAEngine is an addition to the LUA commands usualy used, the GUA adds these commands to the LUA library:

Mount(model);
EquipWeapons(equip1, equip2, equip3);
SetBindPoint(x, y, z, mapid, zoneid);
SendVendorList(pUnit);
GiveXp(xp);

GetMoney();
AddCoinage(gold,silver,copper);
   CanRemoveCoinage(gold,silver,copper);
CanRemoveGold(gold);
RemoveCoinage(gold,silver,copper);

dont work for me says
projectfile C:users/jordan/desktop/arcemu/trunk/src/scripts/HeroicwowCore/src/scripts/projects/GUAEngine.vcproj

and i dont got folder called heroicwow the project is either missing from disk or access was denied
