I just saw another guide showing a hard way for other users to connect to heidsql. I know a very easy way how to do this. You can do this in a couple easy steps!
1: Open your configs file and open in note pad "arcemu-logonserver"
2: scrrol down and you'll see this {yours will be diffrent}
<LogonServer RemotePassword = "johved"
AllowedIPs = "192.168.1.103/24"
AllowedModIPs = "127.0.0.1/24">
3: on AllowedModIPs = "127.0.0.1/24">
change the "127.0.0.1" part to your friends IP adress
ex:
<LogonServer RemotePassword = "johved"
AllowedIPs = "192.168.1.103/24"
AllowedModIPs = "192.169.1.134/24">
4: save the notepad document and open Heid sql
5: connect to your server and you'll see a bar at the top click on tools and click on user-manager
You should see this now:
In the username collum: put your firends disered user name:
In the host box: put your firends ip adress (the one you put in the allowMod IP's box)
In the password collum: put your firends password:
Now you can choose what privlages your user can have for testing purposes will choose "all privlages"
Then click add user!
Now have your friend try to connect:
When your firend connects he will be using the user name, host annd password that you just created so make sure you give that to them.
Now you have to be out of heidsql so your friend can connect and you must have your database running in the background.
This has been tested and works
Good Luck
