Hello, I got a problem when i'm trying to confiqure MySQL. When i'm at modify security settings, should i write in all the 3 bars? "Current Root Password" "New Root Password" and "Retype Password"?

I compleed all the features you said but - the maps are missing! I found the map extractor (ad.exe),but when I want to run it it says: "Error in running the program"
Please send me a link for 3.0.3 maps or a link for a godd ad.exe.

Authentication request from 127.0.0.1, result FAIL.

That is what my logonserver says to me.

LogonCommClient: Authenticating...
LogonCommClient: Authentication timed out.

That is what my world says.

So do I need to allow the IP to be able to connect? And yes how do I do that.

Type "root" in all of them

Make sure your ports are open. Look in another thread for the ports. I forgot them.

I found out that I didn't filled in all that I needed to do.
I didn't filled in the remotepassword and LogonServer AllowedIPs and AllowedModIPs.
And that I haven't done that aswell in the world config.

Edit: So I think it works now but how can I log in with what account or how do I create an account to play on my own server?

But what to do now? Is there an account already at the server or do I need to create one?

Yeah the account is usually user: test pw: test and if you go into the Logon DB you click accounts and then you can click the little + and create your own account..

Try to make sure you did everything right.

Yeah found a guide here how to make accounts. But I got a problem with creating accounts cause the accounts don't got TBC nor WotLK. Only the first version of WoW. I can't make a Draenei, nor a Blood Elf nor a DK and I made sure in my config that you don't need a lvl 55 character first to make a DK.

And you need to edit your first post a bit mark in red that in the logonconfig you need to edit the remotepassword is not the MySQL password atleast it doesn't need to be. And in the world config:

<LogonServer DisablePings = "0"
             RemotePassword = "ascent">

to:

<LogonServer DisablePings = "0"
             RemotePassword = "same as remotepassword in the logon config">

i am newb in makin PVs.. The step 9 . i dont get you there.. I dont have that menus under the ' test server' and it is grey...

It's okay everyone starts somewhere. And can you please explain more? You just right click and click New Database.
