    Yay!

    Ok, it worked. Had to write something like create in This server box... Uhm. Anyways, NO commands work. Do'h. Please, any1 have the same problem? I can't do kill, I can't do posses, can't do speed, revive, anything! Please!

    Ok guys listen up.Open up your database and go to realmD.Then open the one named account.
    Make a new acc set a pass set gm lvl at 3 scroll to the right and where it sais tbc set it 1.Thats all.(wouldnt have it been soooooo easy if u had just explored the database?)

    Problem.
    I changed all the "enGB"s to "enUS" in the enGB.cmd
    But when I open it it has three errors in a row and then quits. All three errors are the same:
    .NET Framework Initialization Error
    C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded

    Any ideas? I've tried 294365872 private server guides, and all of them gave me some kind of problem like this...I'm beginning to think that I'm just destined not to make my own WoW server lol

    P.S. I have patch 8471 and everything up to this point i followed perfectly.

    Hmmm I am now stuck at "Handshaking" will not go beyond that. Also what about the other users in the database?? administrator, gamemaster, moderator player????

    so you add a new line id = 5, username = whatever, sha_pass_hash = password????, gmlevel = 3 for some reason it gave me 9, tbc = 1 but why are the others set to 0?

    ANyhow back on the "Handshaking" issue... so if I use wrong username is says wrong user. Now when I checked the database it says failed_logins = 4... so it somehow sees I am trying to login but it doesnt let me... authentication issue?? password??

    OK, so opening the database doesn't work. This is what you do. Once you do everything our man said start mangosd.exe and realmd.exe, now after the server started and finished loading use the commands given. Do not bother editing teh databse as it will give you an error. Just add a new user and password in the cmd prompt. then use setgm xxx 3 to give yourself GM rights and then you can also set the tbc.

    First of all,Ashyda go and dl .Net framework 3.5.Secondly, Kintero open the database go to the acc thing(cant remember its name and too bored to open navicat now) make an acc set pass etc and set gm lvl at 3.Tbc at 1 and your ok.Now about the commands,go ingame make a char etc and type .commands to see a list of the available comands.

    actually ashyda i dont think u got .net framework at all.So u will need to dl 1.0 first i think then 2 then 3.5...

    Pretty much perfect but I have two questions
    1. When I use NPC changelevel I can only change NPC levels from 1-63. How can I change this?

    2. I'm trying to make custom NPCs and items with Quice DB editor but when i fill in the fields it gives me errors.
    Here are the fields, can you let me know if I filled them out incorrectly?
    Server: MaNGOS
    Username: root
    Password: root
    Port: 3306
    Characters: Alpha (a character I made)
    There are other fields that I do not know how to fill out:
    mangos
    realmd
    script

    and when I try to press connect it tells me "None of the dynamic libraries can be found: libmysql50.dll, libmysql.dll"

    Can you help?
    I promise when I'm done with this all i'll give you 6 rep lol...or ill goddamn rep spam you as far as i can

    Can other players play on this server with just normal wow or do they have to download something special to use DK and such

    Here you go, I found all the GM commands. I got the game working, wasted the whole of yesterday on it, I even went in Naxxramas and got killed by the mobs maybe I gotta change my stats cause I couldn't handle them. Was a Death Knight.

    Right now can we access TLK stuff? Mobs in Northland?? Items npc etc etc?? Also a lot of things weren't added to the cheat shop NPCs... a few things left out like the Spectral Tiger Mount, the X-51 Nether Rocket mount, Merciless Nether Drake, Amani War Bear and some great T6 Gear. I've also found out some swords I've never heard off before, not sure where they come from because they are Yellow, supposed to be Artifact weapons??... not orange or purple. Do an item lookup for Warglaive of Azzinoth and they will be the first 2 on the list, sword (right) sword (left). You can also combine them to make another sword or take them apart and they become dual swords.


    Plokami, is there a place where you can get hold of databases? for mobs and such... specially for WOTLK area. And another question... how can I stop the level 70 cap? Seems you cannot get to 80 unless you do levelup. Game cap is set at 70. How do I also stop all new characters start at 70? make it level 1instead? and also what about the insane XP... no matter what level I am I kill 2 3 mobs and I'm 70...

    First of all Ashyda i fear i cant help u cuz i cand understand your problem.Secondly Airai,yes they need to have the F&F update to patch 8471 and get hamachi etc or any other way u have got the server online.No kintero there is no DB available atm,i found one but it screwed the server and gave me 354354354 errors.Also about the levels,open your mangosd.conf press ctrl + f (to do a search) and search for StartPlayerLevel.Then do it again and search for MaxPlayerLevel.Enter the values u want and you'll be fine.And no there are no items or mobs in northrend yet.

    I think Ashyda is talking about customizing the database... frankly this will be a lot of trial and error. We could do the same and create the whole of WOTLK area with mobs and drops. This is a lot of work... but for trying weapons armours etc etc... I am loving it. Wasted 3 days on this already

    Ashyda I would advise to read up on the actual creation of it. Edit the files and reaload check if everything is good.

    Is there a way to go around the land and spawn mobs and npcs? Put them in the correct places and save the locations from within the game? So actually add them to the database so next time you start the server up it will add them to the places you did.

    My main concern is with Northrend, I would love to get it populated. If I could do that by simply spawning the npcs and bosses and saving the file it would be great. Quiet a bit of info on wowwiki woltk that could give us an insight on what to try and spawn.

    Plokami mate you have some Karma from me and let me know if there is a way to go around spawning stuff and saving the database so they are permanent.
