Make A Cool 2.4.2 Ascent Server Easy Working

this is probably the biggest noob q so far. BUT how do i change what new char's start with? i have spun around for hours trying to figure this out. Some new toons start with tier 8, some start with just tier 4.. to be honest i dont care if they start naked, but I dont want them to start with tier8 .. can you help me? I want to go live w/ this server, but.. i cant when people will be making a mage and it comes out wearing plate tier 8.. etc..

Find a SQL file what let people start with Tier 1 2 3 4 5 or 6 and change the number of lets say 35812 is tier 6 helmet for warrior to a season 4 helmet and the Id of the arena 4 helm is 182424 ok then change the tier 6 helm to s4 = 35812 to 182424

I know this is a really noob question but when i got to item maker and the database editor and stuff and it tells my to type in all my info i would really appreciate someone to tell me what to type in...thank you

wow, this guide is really great. thanks! i got two issues though: not all the gm commands in the .txt work (like .levelup), and the item list in this server is not up to date with the version of WoW it's running. what can i do about these problems??
