Custom porta to Custom mall

So this is a Basic guide to making a custom portal on a mangos server. Mine just so happens to go the my custom mall im implementing on my WOTLK server


so first things first you'll need a server editing program, any old one should do personally ill be using ems sql manager which can be downloaded from their main site EMS SQL Manager - SQL Tools and Database Administration, Database Development and Database Management Tools for MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, InterBase, Firebird, Oracle, DB2 but youll need to create a login

so once you get that opened and your server linked just go to Game_object templates



I am personally taking a premade portal using it as a template although you can make any object into a portal as long as you have a spell code

so go ahead and set up the portal either custom or copied to look somthing like this





the type needs to be 22!!!
that makes it the porta
everything else is 0 except size and data0


ok now for the tricky part youll need a spell

I will personally be using spell ID
33056
as to the fact i know it is a broken teleport spell for more just go to thottbot and search teleport or search on ur server for teleports that dont work




now then you need to configure the spell go to the
spell_teleport table and go ahead and make a new line

now youll need to put in the spell id you chose and it shouldnt have a line set up already unless ur changing a already used teleport



next go to the place where you want it to spit you out and do .gps to get all info you need about the location



put those coordinates in


once these are in you should be set to restart ur server and test it out:wave:

then just spawn some good npc and please the population
