Making Custom Items Without a Database Editor

Hi, this guide will tell you how to make custom items the easy way with no database editors or anything like that.

a really useful website to create these items is:
WoW Vendetta - Wage Your War

you need to sign up but you don't get any junk mail.

1) sign up

2) choose what you want to make <fig 1>

3) fill in the information fields about your item < fig 2>

NOTE: the item display IDs can be found in your database under items
NOTE: make sure the Entry # is not one used in the database already e.g. 500001

4) press submit <fig 3>

5) copy the top block of text <fig 4>

6) paste it into the queries section of your database <fig 5>


7) Execute all queries <fig 6>

refresh object browser <fig 7>

9) Exit your database

NOTE: when it says: the content has been changed, press NO <fig8>

10) restart your server (if you had it running)

11) log in and spawn your item using the entry# you put in

There is tons of guides about Wow-v item/vendor and w/e else creation.

WoW-v is good for newcomers, sure. But newcomers can also use search!

And BTW ADE 1.1.5 is way better then WoW-V. U got alot more options and it injects the code into the database without any problem...

I also believe you said without a database editor? This uses a database editor.
