    [Guide] How to make your server public with no-ip ! With NO-IP update.

    Step 1. Make no-ip domain name

    1. Go to No-IP - Dynamic DNS, Static DNS for Your Dynamic IP
    2. Make an account
    3. Log into the account
    4. Go to add host
    5. write in the hostname you want, Eks "wowserver"
    6. Then choose on of the no-ip domain names
    7. Choose DNS Host (A)
    8. Click add host
    9. Domain name finished.
    10. Go here
    and download for mac, linux or windows.
    11. Install and open
    12. Log into your account
    13. Make sure to push at the window that makes it update your domain name
    14. IP update finished




    Step 2. Open ports in your router

    1.Open this ports in your router

    8129
    8093
    3306
    3724
    80

    2. Click at the start menu
    3. Then run
    4. Then type cmd
    5. Then type ipconfig
    6. Now your IP will show up
    7. If your IP is 192.168.0.129
    8. Type 192.168.0.1 in the internett adress
    7. Type admin as username and password , if not work you should have a username and password for your router.
    8. After get into the site its different at many routers
    9. Try yourself here, if not going, go here


    Step 3. Edit your conf files.

    1. Go to ascent-realms.conf
    2. edit like this :

    3.Finshed

    Step 4. Start up the server

    1.Start Mysql
    2. Start apache (if you got website)
    3. Start ascent-logonserver.exe
    4. Start ascent-world.exe

    thanks . i have dynamic IP and i dont have a router ,how can i open the ports in windows or how can i make it work with no-ip with no router ?

    how can i allow all ips?

    AllowedIPs = "0.0.0.0"
    isnt working
    .

    "Connecting to logonserver on HOSTNAME: 8093"
    "Connection failed.. blah blah blah"

    Any ideas on how to fix it, my IP changed alot, I'm guessing that's static.

    I can't even connect to the server, and I've followed the guide word for word.

    If you can help, I'll +rep, I also forwarded the ports.
