I am having trouble starting the server using the repacks. I have tryed repack 3,5 and 6 but still get the same problem for each one which is it wont let me login to the server. Everything is set up I think, mangodb reaches World Initialised but despite this I can not join the server. Any help?

Make sure your realmlist is correct. If you are trying to connect from another computer you must also change the realm's ip to the real ip of the host computer using the batch file in the batch folder.

Heyo, I'm having trouble with logging into the server. It authenticates fine as admin/admin, it even states in realmd.exe that the auth was successful. But then it kicks me with a 'Disconnected from server' message after about 30 seconds. I can't seem to find anything useful in the logs. I'm running windows 10 with the creators update. I tried adding users through mangos and the apache server. All logins created exhibit the same behavior. I'm using an enGB client; version 1.12.1 (5875). I'm suspecting possibley something with my client is the problem. It logged into the official Elysium server just fine though. Realmlist.wtf is set to 127.0.0.1

If I could add more information it would probably be my system specs.

Ryzen R7 1700,
16GB ECC (unbuffered)
rx 580 8gb
Windows 10 + Fall Creators update.

I hope we can get to the bottom of this, I'd love to get this working

I figured it out. It was Microsoft Security Essentials. It was not enough to disable "Real-Time Protection" and exclude the MaNGOS folder. I had to stop the process from starting at boot altogether.

If this helps anyone else: run msconfig from the start menu, Startup tab, uncheck Microsoft Security Client, reboot.

Thanks for your reply, however turning this didn't work for me. What version of windows is recommended? I'll just fire up a VM and use what ever windows operating system that is known to work best with your mangos bro pack.

Do you think you will ever reach out to make this happen on a popular linux server distribution? Maybe someone with flatpak/snaps experience could help too.

Okay, first try do a ".save" and restart server.
If the guild table is still empty;

You can create guild, make a second account and try invite a member.
Refresh table and check if the guild is in the table in the database (should be)

Restart server and see if guild is gone or not and write here with the result.

I'd suggest you to compile cmangos on linux if you are interested in running on that.

Brotalnia I have a big problem, I maintain a DataBase with some modified custom stuff and had to manually update it every patch to stay in sync with the GitHub changes. But all changed when you committed this Changeset; Implement Broadcast Texts and add new DB release. * LightsHope/server@77a78e4 * GitHub...

It is missing some DBs modifications like the SQLs to drop the db_strings tables and some more you did I don't know, but after this Changeset the core is crashing with a message that I am missing the new Broadcast Table yet I have to found the SQL that added it, also although it stated that a new DB was released I don't see it added...

Thank you in advance for any fix or response as I have no means to test anything as the core is crashing before even starting...

The new database is under the releases section to avoid inflating the repo size.

You should be keeping your custom changes as sql files that you apply on the database after the migrations. Working directly in the db is not a good idea.

i opened the ports 3724, 8085 and 3306 on my router, and i changed the server ip to my ip (public address) using batch file u provided
and i changed realmlist to my ip, i try to login and it is stuck on Connecting..

any ideas ?

Are you connecting in LAN?
