.gm fly on - does not work
there are some bugs in taq, Ouro cannot be triggered
Ouro should work now, thanks
Latest update fixes warlocks pet crashing when logging in and other issues also Vaelan now triggers correctly
If you are transferring the character database from a previous version you will need to delete all information within character_aura and pet_aura other wise when someone logs in the server can still crash with a warlock pet etc...

MySQL won't start for me; I've downloaded two other repacks and gotten them to work by reading error files and making minor changes, but yours fails immediately and the fix is beyond my knuckle-dragging skills. The window opens for a brief second, too fast to read, and then closes just as swiftly.

I'd love to get in and try out your repack if you (or anyone really) can help me resolve this issue!
Thanks!
Try waiting a minute before pressing enter when the black launch windom pops up
I just downloaded this and found a serious bug. I created a lvl 60 Warrior and noticed that while I have about 30% crit, my white attacks never crit but my special (yellow) attacks still do. My weapon skills are maxed.

See the recap windows to the down right.
I have another similar wow vanilla repack but like a year older using an almost identical Warrior and that problem is definitely not there.
I just tested a warrior and it got a white crit with auto attack with 6% crit chance make sure you downloaded the latest version and try again.
Also 562 is a high number for a single handed weapon hit, i think you are critting but the addon is not picking up when you crit with auto attacks maybe?

500 non crit is not that high as a naxx fury warrior with the best 1h in the game (Gressil, Dawn of Ruin). If you look at special attack crits, they all go over 1000 including Whirlwind and Overpower (which are about 100% weapon damage) so 500 is definitely not a crit. Beside, Recap 3.35 is pretty well known and a very reliable Vanilla addon and showing 0% crits on only white attack is definitely alarming to see. Other than that, I'm using another (but older) repack using a similar Naxx Fury Warrior and everything character-related works perfectly.
Have you tested with a lvl 60 leveled using ".character level 60" command and ".maxskill" command? that could be the problem because that's all I did beside adding BIS items. I did all that with the other repack and found no issues using these commands.
Edit: I started a new warrior using the .levelup command up to 60, added items to gear him up and started leveling sword manually using only auto attacks instead of using .maxskill and white crit are back.
Edit2: I played for a while and at some point I stopped having white crits again...so I'm trying to figure out when that happened.
Edit3: I'm pointing at weapon skill for now, as soon as I reached around 250 into swords, white crits suddenly stop happening. I did multiple backups when I started the character from scratch and it seems to lead that way so far.

@Warrax22 i looked through all the melee code and didnt find anything that suggested weapon skill has anything to do with crit chance, weapon skill simply calculates whether u hit the target or not. Then the chance for crit/miss/dodge/parry/glance etc is calculated.
I readjusted some variables and calculations that might have caused it, if u want to test again let me know the results.
@Arkadus, discovered your repack today and installed.
After install I execute start.bat, waited 10sec and press enter. Then I run into the following error :
ERROR:Could not connect to MySQL database at 127.0.0.1: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
Seems user/pass as specified in realmd.conf is not accepted.
Please help.
Arkadus, this is my very first attempt to run a Vanilla WoW server and I chose your repack for this purpose.
The install worked flawlessly and the default settings worked first time for me to log in locally on the LAN (running the server on the same PC I am running the WoW.exe for test purposes).
I have been reading avidly everyone's posts on the subject of 'realm looping' errors when trying to log in externally to the server (WAN)
My Setup: Intel Core i7 PC running Windows 7 - 64bit O/S || cable connection (cable modem/router) connected via ethernet
Tools used: Your repack || Navicat || Direct Static IP and No-IP with DUC
Firewall Rules Set For: mangosd.exe || realmd.exe || mysqld
I am no stranger to running servers for certain other games in years past but the external issue of users trying to log in and receiving the REALM LOOP scenario is a nut I have been unable to crack so far. I am hoping you and other knowledgeable forum members can look at my settings and see what, if anything, I am doing incorrectly.
Mangosd.cfg file:
Realmd.cfg file:
Realmlist @realmd MySQL entry:
Ports Forwarded:
Windows HOST file:
Those attempting to connect have tried to 'set realmlist' in their realmlist.wtf files to both the direct IP and the DNS url.
However, none can connect.
Any ideas folks?
